This coming Juneteenth Monday, we will be donating all the proceeds from both cafes sales to Hillside Connection. Hillside Connection is a wonderful local organization focused on creating pathways for kids in Southern Colorado Springs to have opportunities to learn and develop diverse skill sets and be exposed to many different opportunities for their futures. Hillside’s purpose, as stated by founder Terrell Brown is, “Leveraging the game of basketball, to create pathways to opportunity for kids in southern Colorado Springs.” The program began in 2017 by creating basketball and enrichment opportunities for boys in 1st-5th grade, and now has impacted over 500 kids from southern Colorado Springs. Their enrichment programming reaches well beyond the basketball court. They provide opportunities for youth participants to view art exhibits at the fine arts center, learn financial literacy at ANB bank, visit the Olympic training center, and many other exciting and valuable experiences.

This Juneteenth Monday 6/19/2023, all proceeds from all Loyal Coffee sales will be donated to Hillside Connection and we would love to see the community come out to support. Hillside Connection is an important organization that is pouring into the Colorado Springs community.
Hillside Connection is also volunteer driven so we encourage anyone who might be interested, to visit their site and see if there are any volunteer opportunities that interest them. This Monday, come by either cafe (Downtown or Northgate) and get yourself a drink, a bag of whole bean coffee, or whatever seems tasty, and help us support the city we love through supporting an organization that is moving our community forward.
